My Bonnie

Renata (my extremely creative friend) just designed the most adorable digital kit! I just love it and had to make two pages with it right away. The kit is called My Bonnie (available Aug 1st). The golf page was inpired by a quick page in an album by Ranie O'Dell at The Lilypad and the second was inspired by a template designed by Amy Martin at the LilyPad. Thanks for looking.

PInk, pink, pink

This afternoon and evening I got a chance to sneak up to the computer and make a couple more pages. The bubble blower page was inspired by a template that Ali Edward sells. I made that page using Serene by RW's kit- Spring Dusk. Those photos on the Door County page have been begging to be scrapped forever. I love that I got all the good photos from our trip on one page. The kit I used for that page is Serene by RW's kit- Stardust. Thanks for looking!

A Victorian Affair

Monika has a new kit at Ahhh Scrap! called Victorian Affair. Here are 2 pages I made using her new kit. I used a Scrapbook Max! template to make the sister page (I am on the left in case you were wondering), and the photo on the other is from Graphics Fairy blog. If you are in need of vintage clip art, check out that blog...she gives away vintage and Victorian clip art everyday.

American Crafts- Sibling page, paper version

Yay...I paper scrapbooked. Personally, it felt good to get paint all over and make a mess of my craft room again. I used all American Crafts- Amplified papers and journaling sticker on this page. Thanks for looking.

A Distressed Sympathy card and Another Digital Page

Ron called from work and said he needed a sympathy card, as the clerk at the post office lost her father-in-law last night. This card uses the colors from today's color challenge on Splitcoaststampers...Groovy Guava, Barely banana, and Choc. chip. I pleated the bottom designer paper.

The digi page I made is of my kids with my uncle Otis. Watching them on the tractor brought back a flood of memories of my own childhood. That was one of my favorite things in all the world to do...ride on the tractor with Otis. I am sure he didn't love it as much...as I sang his ear off and talked non-stop. I used a kit I found here (free)-Digital Crea....I intended on uploading it for their contest...but I apparently missed the deadline...oops. Oh well. Credits: AmelieScrap,
Mymy'sdigiscrap, Mimilou, Nani, Fol, bisontine, Kawoette...all part of the FAN_DigitalCrea collaboration.

Golfing with Butterfly Wings and Color-blocked digital page

Here are two more pages I have made with Renata's (Serene by RW) digital kits. The golfing one uses the kit Stardust, and the pastel kit is called Citrus Sunshine....both are at Ahhh Scrap! The definition is from the Scrapbook Max program and the ribbon and bow are Digital Divas Designs CT-Tina.

I did the golfing page after taking these photos tonight. Kari just got these butterfly wings for her birthday and dad happened to be practicing golf...so that is how the two got mixed...that is definitely a "Kari" thing to do. This page uses this week's sketch on Splitcoaststampers. The pastel page...I scraplifted a layout in the SU! Spring/Summer catalog. Thanks for looking.

Come get this, Toothfairy

I get to play tooth fairy again tonight, as Kari lost her second tooth. Here is a page I made with the photos I took of her first tooth she lost and her portrait after her second tooth fell out. This page uses the Stardust kit from Serene by RW at Ahhh Scrap! I just love the black and pink together. I scraplifted the layout from the May/June 2008 issue of BHG Scrapbooks, Etc....a page by Jeri Hoag. Thanks for looking.

Last night I was busy using Vicki's (DigiLover's Addiction) kit-Berry Lime Crush. I made a second layout using her kit. You can find this kit at Ahhh Scrap, also.

Minnesota State Fair

I couldn't post any paper creations, because my camera died last week. Here is a layout I did for Virtual Scrapbook Night on Splitcoaststampers. The challenge was to make something handmade on your page. I created the tickets by using my ticket corner punch, Noteworthy stamp (SU!), and $1 Target Spot alpha. Paper- Fancy Pants-About a Boy collection. Ribbon is Fancy Pants also. Journaling-For years people couldn't believe that I never had been to the MN State Fair. In 2007, Ron volunteered to work at the USPS booth, so I got my chance. Thanks for looking.
