Here is the paper version of Girly Chat. I don't print my digital pages...at least I haven't yet...so I wanted to create my digital page as a paper creation. patterned paper: Me and My Big Ideas- Sanctuary; cardstock: SU! Bashful Blue; Stamps: $1 Target Spot alphabet stamps.

Here is Renata's page using the same digital kit.

Irises

I must be on a roll...here is card #2 for the Featured Stamper challenge on Splitcoaststampers. I used an old SU! set, Long-Stemmed and the sentiment is a SU! set, Close as a Memory. The patterned cardstock (that I sanded) is from Crate Paper- Samantha collection. Michelle's card is the bottom card.

Featured Stamper 64: Michelle

Well...I finally did something creative! On Sunday it is the Featured Stamper challenge on Splitcoastampers...and the idea is that the hostess finds a wonderful gallery and the participants in the challenge find a card in that gallery to CASE (Copy and Share with Everyone)...changing at least two elements on the card. Here is my card using Close To My Heart's In the Wild...that I have had for years! Here's Michelle's (sf9erfan)card:

My Friend's Digital Scrapbooking

My good friend, Renata and I were on Skype one night last fall discussing the idea of learning how to do digital scrapbooking. Both of us agreed that we would help each other learn how to do it. Well...within a month, she borrowed an Adobe Illustrator for Dummies book from the library and was making me digital elements to use in digital and hybrid scrapbooking. She is now selling digital scrapbooking kits on Ebay and I wanted to share her stuff with all of you. Thanks for looking and have a wonderful weekend (I really need to do something, ANYTHING creative tonight...so hopefully I will have something to post.)

I have received an award.

Thank you, Vicki for this award. You are so sweet! I am not good at "tagging" other people's blogs...so consider yourself tagged if you'd like.

Cosmo Cricket and a Friendly Flower

Here is a quick card I made today using some scraps of patterned paper from Cosmo Cricket. The stamp set is in this month's Occasions Mini-Catalog by Stampin' Up...the stamp set is called Friendly Flowers. Stitching was done using Autumn Leaves, Messy Stitches acrylic set. Thanks for looking.

Spring?

Will spring ever arrive here in Wisconsin? I will celebrate when it does! Here is a card that is fun and springy. The sketch is Splitcoaststampers sketch challenge this week (I'd provide a link, but the site is funky at the moment), and the colors are from Kristina Werner's blog color challenge. Thanks for looking.

For a Birthday or Bridal Shower?

First off...I have a question for you....how do you get rid of your unloved craft items? In the past I have donated stacks of patterned paper and scrapbooking supplies to a member of our local Freecycle group and to the Family Resource Center of St. Croix County. Last week, I decided I was going to try Ebay...not worth it. By the time I pay for listing fees, final value fees, and PayPal charges, I think I owe them money. I have two listing this week, lot of girl and a lot of boy patterned papers, and then I am done with selling on Ebay for awhile...just not worth it. If anyone has a great idea as to how to unload unloved supplies...leave me a comment.

I have a birthday card to make and a bridal shower card to make so the card I made for the stacked ribbon challenge on SCS would fit the bill for either, I guess. Stamp sets: SU! Close as A Memory and Circle of Friendship. Patterned paper is Die Cuts With a View Luxury Stack. Thanks for looking.

A Masculine Birthday Card

Oh, I have been just terrible about making cards lately. I have missed my in-laws' anniversary and now this will be late. It is my cousin's birthday today...and here is the card I made for him. (Shhh...don't tell him Theresa!) I used a retired The Angel Company stamp set and the sentiment is Happy Harmony set from SU! I watercolored using reinkers and a paintbrush. I stamped the image and sentiment using Timber Brown Staz on.
