Happy Halloween

Tonight was a fun one. One of the fringe benefits of having kids is getting to re-experience all of the joys of your own childhood!

Over at Splitocoaststampers in the challenge forum, they have digital scrapbooking challenges...and this week the challenge is to turn a photo black and white or sepia...and use color on a portion to hightlight. This page is also for the Ahhh Scrap Nov. Personal Challenge...to make a page about what you are most thankful for. I used Serene by RW's Panta Rei Paper Pack, Panta Rei Frames, Agate Marbles kit, and Agate Marble Torn Paper Pack.

Part of the journaling includes a prayer that we sang before meals at Bible camp many years ago...it is funny how I can remember all the words to so many of those songs!

1st Day of First Grade

Oh, the joy of having time to paper scrapbook again! With working evenings and a bit of an addiction to digiscrapping....I just haven't made a page in quite a while. I did this page for the week's Variety Challenge (use pink ribbon on the lo) and the Sketch Challenge over at Splitcoast. Patterned paper by October Afternoon and Making Memories-Noteworthy. Herbal Essence by Monika and some winter pages

First off...I have to be quick with this post because my computer is acting up and I think it is due to overheating.I will quickly show you some new layouts I have made. The first one is using Monika Designs' free kit- Herbal Essences. Frame by Sunflowers. The next couple of pages are using Serene by RW's new kit- Winter Glitterland. The Joy page was inspired by a page in Scrapbooks, Etc...a lo by Paula Murakaimi. Thanks for looking...and I will be praying tonight that my computer makes it though this! Yikes!

Cucciola's Designs- Moment in Time Layouts

Each month I get 3 kits to use as a CT member of Ahhh Scrap! Sometimes I like to choose kits that are a bit outside of my comfort zone...just for fun. Well, Cucciola's Designs is a new designer at Ahhh Scrap! and I decided to use her kit- Moments in Time. It is a gorgeous kit- but not my cutesy style I usually gravitate towards. Here are the 2 layouts I made. The wedding page was inspired by this fabulous page by Michele Kovack (chelemom). Word art on the cousin page is from agnieszkag. Thanks for looking!
